James Kimble Young James Kimble Young died in 16 Dec 1987 and his ashes sat unclaimed on a mortuary shelf for 16 years unknown to his closest relatives. He and his brother Robert Leon Young were bachelors that
lived with an aunt in her home in Springfield 431 South New St. His brother die 18 Nov 1984 in Springfield Illinois and is buried at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Springfield Illinois. Brian Young contacted Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield Illinois and provided the proof of his military service in the Army Air Corp during world war ll James was employed by the Illinois Department of Agriculture. Member of American Legion Post No. 32 and the Faternal Order of the Eagles. Also member of Society of Mayflower Descendants through his mother Kathryn Hesser Hopkins whose family dates back in an unbroken line to Captain Stephen Hopkins (1581-1644) , advisor to the Plymouth Company that settled at Plymouth , Massachusetts in 1620.
